We’re delighted to welcome our newest member, Joy Mulligan, to the team! Joy is a CORU registered Speech and Language Therapist. She graduated from Trinity College with a degree in Clinical Speech and Language Studies in 2020.

Joy will be providing telepractice services via an online video calling platform to deliver therapy with adults, parents and children. Joy specialises in aiding communication difficulties including language (aphasia), speech, communication confidence, voice and dysfluency. She will also provide services in the treatment of communication and swallowing disorders associated with acquired and progressive neurological conditions such as stroke, Parkinson’s disease and dementia.

Joy believes in the importance of implementing evidence based treatments in this population and she is dysphagia, tracheostomy, videofluoroscopy, and LSVT LOUD trained. LSVT LOUD is an evidence-based speech therapy modality to help people with Parkinson’s disease improve their voice volume and articulation

Our telepractice services enable you to receive speech therapy from the comfort of your own home. It reduces time spent travelling to different locations, breaks down geographical barriers and enables you to engage in speech therapy at a time and place that is most convenient for you.
