Sailashree Vihar Women's Association

Members of the Sailashree Vihar Women's Association celebrated the 7th International Women's Day with great enthusiasm and fervour. The event was held on 2nd March 2024 at the Sailashree Vihar Children's Park, Bhubaneswar. The event ended on a great note and seemed to augur well with the theme "Women Empowerment and Entrepreneurship: A Vision of New India". Women are the change-makers in society, and healthy thinking leads to a healthy society.

The event would not have been possible without the generous support of Odisha Mining Corporation and Odisha Coal & Power Limited.

The Chief Guest for the occasion was Mrs Sulochana Das, Hon'ble Mayor, Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation, and the Guest of Honour was Mrs Tara Dash, Director, Rajomani Agrofoods Pvt. Ltd, Mrs Josodhara Pradhan, Corporator, Phase VII, Sailashree Vihar and Mrs Preetinanda Routray, Corporator, Phase VI, Sailashree Vihar.

The Sailashree Vihar Women's Association celebrated the 75th Republic Day on 26th January 2024 in the Children's Park. The Principal from the Chetna Public School, Children, and local residents attended the programme with much enthusiasm :)

The Year 2024 kickstarted with some resolutions, fun get-togethers and outdoor picnics. The housewives who are regarded as "homemakers" took a day off from their busy schedules to share some lighter moments within themselves.

The Sailashree Vihar Women's Association (SVWA) wishes everyone A Very Happy & Prosperous New Year 2024. Previously, the Association has received appreciation from Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) which lauded the efforts of the members in park maintenance and creating an eco-friendly community. Like every year, the Association has planted many seasonal flowers during the winter season. Sharing some of the glimpses of full bloom in winter 31st December 2023.
