Kargil Vijay Diwas serves as a powerful reminder of the unyielding spirit of our armed forces and the indomitable will of our nation. It reminds us that freedom and peace come at a great cost and that we must never take these liberties for granted.

Kargil Vijay Diwas is observed on July 26th every year to commemorate the successful victory of India in the Kargil War of 1999. The conflict erupted when Pakistani troops and militants infiltrated across the Line of Control (LOC) in Kargil, a region in Jammu and Kashmir. The intrusion caught India by surprise, leading to intense fighting in the challenging terrain and adverse weather conditions.
But the indian soldiers reclaimed the 'Tiger Hill' and other posts under 'Operation Vijay'.
And remained Victorious.

Let us not only remember the sacrifices of our soldiers but also reflect on the importance of peace, unity, and harmony. Together, let's build a better tomorrow for our nation, honoring the legacy of those who laid down their lives for us.

A tragedy that should never have happened.

Souls for Solace, in collaboration with Capital Hospital Bhubaneswar, hosted an urgent blood donation camp for the welfare of people affected by the devastating train collision on June 2nd in the Balasore district of Odisha.
