We successfully hosted an Organ Donation awareness event in partnership with Agradoot Bangosamaj at their Durga Pujo Pandal, located near Radisson Blue in Kharadi, Pune, from October 20th to 24th, 2023.

The event saw numerous pledges for Organ Donation, signaling its success. Additionally, on October 22nd, 2023, a specialized session was held to dispel "Myths Associated with Organ Donation in India." The talk was expertly delivered by Dr. Vrishali Patil, Director of Transplant Surgery at Dr. DY Patel Hospital and Research Center, Pune.

We extend our gratitude to our volunteers Naresh and Shamal Gandhi, who offered their invaluable time and effort to make this event a success.

On September 15th, the "Naman Divas" event was held at S.M. Joshi Sabhagriha. Organized by ZTCC Pune, the program extended invitations to 46 donor families, of which 25 attended in significant numbers.

These families shared their touching experiences, providing insight into the profound impact of organ donation. A grateful recipient of a kidney-pancreas transplant also took the stage to express his deep appreciation to the donor families.

The event was further elevated by the presence of esteemed Marathi actor, Mohan Joshi, who commended the families, stating, "I salute these families and the true heroes for their noble act of organ donation." Rebirth is proud to be part of this transformative journey with ZTCC Pune.
