Just like your nonstick cookware, air fryer has a non stick layer. When you directly put food in it to cook, at high temperatures-PFAS present in nonstick coating slowing starts entering the food and ultimately into your body.

Easiest way is to use a baking sheet or parchment paper 📜 to avoid direct contact with non stick coating making sure there are no scratches in the coating.
