Dear Youths,

I have seen a video where youth are fighting amongst themselves and the Deputy President William Samoei Ruto goes on with his speech as if nothing is going on. He says “Wachana na hao...”

I know depending on the political sides you support and being easily manipulated you are bound to get sucked into the supremacy battles going on.

I however, ask you to consider and avoid putting your life on the line for somebody who knows nothing about you from what you eat, where you stay, what you do for a living among other things.

We should value ourselves more and avoid being used as weapons for politicians. No politician is worth dying for.

If they abuse each other don't feel their pain and fight for them because they're more than capable to handle their own issues.

They'll try to make it personal. Politicians relationship should never affect our relationships. Our love for each other should never be dependant on political temperatures.

We should not stop being friends because of politics. We might be supporting different sides but we're still brothers therefore we must keep our brotherhood.

Just like my brother might support Arsenal and myself Man Utd when two meet we'll be at each others throats but when the game is over we get back to our default settings of being brothers. The same should also apply when it comes to political arena.

Kenya should matter more than our tribes, our peace should come first. As youths we've a greater role to play inorder to put this country back on its right truck.

Let's continue maintaining and upgrading our peace to a better and a higher level tonight, tomorrow and so on.

Before and after elections we're brothers and sisters and no matter who will win. Let's all aim in wanting the best for our country Kenya🇰🇪🇰🇪

A group of tourists was visiting a crocodile farm and they were in a floating structure in the middle of a crocodile lake. The owner of the farm shouted: "Whoever jumps into the water and swims to shore, will receive 10 million dollars. The silence was deafening.

Suddenly, a man jumped into the water. He was chased by crocodiles, but with great luck he was unharmed. The owner announced: "We have a winner!!!".

After receiving their reward, the man and his wife returned to the hotel room. The man tells his wife: "I did not jump in myself ... Someone pushed me !!!"

Men, create relationships with your kids.
Don't just be a provider.
Yes it's nice you paying school fees, providing a roof over their heads and such but you need to be more than that. Be the person your kid can come crying to.

Be present in their lives, develop common interests, create a day where you spend alone with the kids, get involved in their play activities, go home early and help them with their homework, make a point of having supper with them every day and create memories while at that.
I bet most of you don't even know the name of your kid's best friend or the name of their teacher but can name all bartenders within a 10km radius. And that is really sad.

This thing where you come home late at night and on weekends you are always out with your "boys" will cost you something beautiful someday in the future.
Because a time will come where they will grow and their financial dependence on you will be gone. Then what's left to sustain that bond? Nothing.
And you will be a very sad, bitter and lonely man.
