Jurisdiction
1. In sports related matters, the Tribunal determines
• Appeals against decisions made by national sports organizations or umbrella national sports organizations, whose rules specifically allow for appeals to be made to the Tribunal in relation to that issue including: appeals against disciplinary decisions;
and appe als against not being selected for a Kenyan team or squad.

The BPRT and Co-operative Tribunal members physically in Nyeri Law Court during a circuit sitting

The Tax Appeals Tribunal is conducting a training session on the Case Tracking System (CTS) and E-Filing System in collaboration with the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT). This initiative aims to equip Hon. Members and the administration with the necessary skills to integrate ICT into court operations. The Tribunal transitioned fully to E-filing on February 2, 2024.

The Hon. Chief Registrar interacting with Chairpersons and Administrators of Tribunals. In her inaugural address, the CRJ reiterated her commitment and support to the Tribunals in the implementation of STAJ to enhance access to justice. She also underscored the need to implement the appellate mechanism for tribunals to preserve timelines of hearing appeals from Tribunals. She further indicated that Judiciary leadership is working to speed up the implementation of the Tribunals Bill
