it was such a blast !

We worked hard and laughed even harder!

During 3 days, we explored most of the common aggression targeting our youngsters at school or on the way back home . It is amazing to see getting so confident after few days. They now have a plan in case something happen to them. May God protect them from any arm.

Jeet Academy KL is extremely honored to have been selected among few institutions to share our knowledge in hand-to-hand combat with the officers of Malaysian Immigration. For Immigration officers, it is a duty not only to protect themselves and colleagues but also the person they have to arrest. Here it is not about violence or survival, but protection and control. We were impressed by the technical skills of these well trained officers, who , unlike others, deal daily on the field, in detention centers with anger, resentment, and sometimes violence. It was an honor to share some of our knowledge with them. Illegal Immigrants are first and foremost desperate humans and while in detention centers, such despair can lead to erratic or violent responses, from fights with other detainees to rebellions toward authorities. Malaysian officers are perfectly aware of that. We hope our courses will help protect them and the people they deal with daily.

STORY TIME - left behind

What a beautiful story: kei 🇯🇵 started training Krag Maga self defence and Jeet kune do with me 4years ago.. At that time Yui his daughter was 4. He is dedicated, fit and a fantastic human to have around. More than a student he became one of my closest friend in this side of the world. Soon after, his wife joined the academy too! She is now at the fittest shape of her life. Later on their amazingly athletic daughter join our BJJ program! She trains daily to become a balerina 🥿💃but still find time to train BJJ despite her dozens of hours of training weekly. She is so talented.

In order to not be left behind😂 Kei started BJJ too. Daddy s duty! And today, this picture fills up my heart with joy. A family training together and growing together! 👨‍👩‍👧

Day 2 - Shooting Range

Who said shooting is easy? Everyone things he can just grab a gun and shot. Wait to discover the dozens of gun malfunctions and how to fix it 😅, from human error to material issues.

Without evening talking about the precision while in movement. Tactical shooting is very very different from leasure range static shooting.

Have you ever tried to shot at short range? Mid range? Most of shooting happens at close range.... What an eye opener!

Had the immense honor to train under 🇺🇸 instructor for a few days in Manilla 🇵🇭 during the firearm tactical course module

A much much needed update on my knowledge and a fantastic eyes opener.

ATTENTION

The biggest challenge I am facing while teaching kids and teens is to keep them engaged in the class ! In an era where everything and everyone is fighting to get their attention = their available brain time - I am so glad and happy to see them so keen to learn life saving and life chasing skills !

You girls are amazing ✌️

You are first and foremost your kid roll model ! Never forget that ! And sometimes, other people complete the final piece ✌️. Bruce Lee might be a good complement to their growth.
