Human Rights in the Picture

On 3 November 2024, Cees Flinterman will be celebrating his 80th birthday.

Cees has been involved with Human Rights in the Picture since its launch in 2013. He was the inaugural chairman, is currently the chairman of the advisory board and has made valuable contributions to our work in a number of ways, combining his roles as a diplomat, academic and activist.

To celebrate his life and work, we invited people in the human rights field to share a memory of him. Over the coming days, we will be sharing these contributions via https://instagram.com/humanrightsinthepicture
