Prior to becoming a chiropractor, Ali was a professional ballerina in Germany and enjoyed an exciting life of travel to various countries around the world. It was during this time that she became aware of the connection between mind and body and began seeking out ways to improve physical performance. Ali completed her undergraduate chiropractic studies in her hometown of Sydney before relocating to New Zealand and graduating from the New Zealand College of Chiropractic in 2016.

Ali enjoys working with people of all ages, with a keen interest in helping families take a proactive approach to their health. She is looking forward to meeting you all soon!

Introducing Dr Tanja Glucina

We are delighted to have Tanja join our team!

Tanja graduated in the year 2000 from the NZ College of Chiropractic and as well as holding university degrees in psychology, health science, and education, she has just recently submitted her PhD. Tanja has also served profession-wide in associations, research trusts, the chiropractic board, and is a chiropractic expert for the Health and Disability Commission.

Tanja will be offering afternoon appointments on Tuesdays and Thursdays and is looking forward to meeting you all soon!

The Ministry of Health has announced a significant easing of restrictions during level 3 lockdown, allowing Chiropractors to return to assisting people who require help.

There is some criteria in place to be eligible for a face-to-face appointment as follows:

1. Without care, it will impact on your quality of life and lessen your functional independence. (e.g. unable to sleep, decreased mobility, pain when sitting to work etc)
OR
2. There could be acute deterioration of a known condition without care
OR
3. There is a risk of harm or significant disability without receiving care

We're delighted to let you know that Dr Steve Bowers has recently joined the team here at Chiropractic Touch. Steve has worked in clinics in Wellington, Whangarei and Auckland after graduating from the NZ College of Chiropractic. He also now teaches in the Chiropractic Centre at the college, mentoring the future generation of Chiropractors. Steve is an avid sportsman with most of his spare time spent on the golf course, playing tennis or kick-boxing in the gym. He started seeing a chiropractor in his late teens to help improve performance, movement and recovery and has since been passionate about helping others from all walks of life experience the same benefits. Make sure you say hello next time you're in!

We are often asked by patients about a spot or lump or notice something ourselves while we're checking spines. Now we have the most amazing practitioner to follow up with who has the expertise to thoroughly assess you. Katy has a wealth of experience and we are delighted to have her join the team! Such an important service and just one more way we can help people be proactive about their health and wellness.
