I thought I should write something about my understanding and approach to Christians and Christianity, in light of many of my posts over the last year or so.
I DO have a habit of treading on toes lol, so here something that may help (or not 😁)

Back in the 90s, we were really into Kevin Prosch. His worship music was incredible - so passionate and heartfelt, and it aligned with our own heart for worship music. Plus, he's an incredibly creative musician.
Misty Edwards was another worship leader with a similar heart and creativity.

But Prosch had a huge fall from grace in the 90s when it was revealed he had a "girl in every port" as he travelled the world.
And he then went on to do it all again :/

Mike Bickle (from IHOPKC) was also someone we aligned with back in our deluded cult days.

So yeah, none of this surprises me. It's a huge rabbit hole of lies and deceit, broken people pretending to be "holy" while screwing each other over under the "covering" of a cult.

This seems to be a standard formula for Pentecostal mega churches (and even small ones), and probably far more churches than we'd care to think :/

Tribalism (whether based on family relationships, ethnic background, religious beliefs, or your favourite sports team) and nationalism belong to earlier eras of human development. They are fear based strategies for survival that now (ironically) threaten our survival.
When will the majority of our brothers and sisters see the truth of our ONENESS, that you cannot do something to someone else without doing it to yourself first? If you can't love and accept the "others" in your life, whoever they may be, then at least do them no harm. We are all children of the same divinity, the same Father/Mother/God/Consciousness.

Hey Aucklanders!
I'm looking for a venue for my Silent G**s "Coming Out of Religion" workshop.
Hopefully a casual atmosphere for around 20 people, coffee and snacks, for about a couple of hours. Reasonably central, and preferably with parking.
I need something cheap (or free 😁). I noticed there's some cafes who do free spaces if you buy their coffee etc, so that's definitely a possibility. I could charge a small fee to cover costs though.
Any suggestions??
