I have a new respect for Chicago after just trying to work out this song ‘just for fun’ .
It’s totally all over the place. Changes many, keys does all kinds of chromatic moves, guitar riffs that perfectly fit in to the chaos but it sounds perfect.
Makes you wanna give up or go away and practice some more. (Serious dose of cheese too)

Hope everyone has had a good holiday. We have been to barrier, stayed with my cousin Vikki in Taupo and just got back from Waheke. Been doing lots of cleaning up and throwing out of stuff too. Even cleaned out forrest hill stoodios too. Had the neighbours over and Sylvia is working on a new company logo.
Lots of new students already contacting me for lessons 2024 is going to be good. Only thing that has suffered over the last few weeks is my playing , in feeling sloppy. Nothing a few hrs with the metronome won’t fix!

Had a nice day at WGHS filling in for Mr Sperber who was sick. The jazz band , string orchestra and rock bands sounded great. It went for exactly 2 hrs. Excellent prize giving TNIS.
