We need accountability from both the previous and current govt.

The previous govt who granted diplomatic immunity to this military official.

The current sitting govt who allowed the entry into NZ soil today.

Where is your concern for the people and their well being! This is a disgrace to the citizens of NZ.

We stand with all our comrades across NZ as we stand against the injustice and irrational decision the govt has made by allowing them into our land, that we now cal home.

Watch: Luxon defends hosting Myanmar officials at ASEAN conference 18/04/2024

What a joke!

Watch: Luxon defends hosting Myanmar officials at ASEAN conference Prime Minister Christopher Luxon says the government condemns outright the Myanmar coup, and NZ is simply following the policy set by ASEAN.

Calling all those in Wellington, please help support our the movement as we call the NZ govt for their accountability for their actions to allow these murders come into our land.

Court bid to ban Myanmar from Asean sunk by diplomatic issue 17/04/2024

We have been devasted and felt unheard in what we call a democratic nation. NZ has always been at the front for its people, but it seems that’s not the case.

How can we believe in our govt when their political gain and bureaucracy is more important than cries of its people.

Court bid to ban Myanmar from Asean sunk by diplomatic issue Human rights campaigners first learnt today the planned Myanmar visitor is an accredited diplomat, not a mid level official as the PM indicated, their lawyer says.

07/04/2024

We will unite and support our people across NZ and show solidarity in partaking in this movement.

We call upon everyone to help us speak out to the NZ government that we need to be heard and our voices matter !!

02/04/2024

Mid level officials?? There is no such thing in a military dictatorship. Everything is controlled and monitored by the top.

This is an outrage and disgraceful position for NZ to take.

NZ was one of the first countries in the world to make an announcement on condemning Myanmar’s military juntas and their horrific actions against their own people.

Now, we have gone backwards and will be allowing those same murderers into our country to take part in ASEAN -New Zealand dialogue in Wellington on April 18 2024. The Burmese community across NZ are outraged by this decision as it sets the stage of accepting and welcoming the juntas and their actions of killing innocent civilians.

We want NZ to remove the juntas from the dialogue table and block their entry into NZ. As citizens of NZ I hope the government will hear us and do the right thing.

Burma has been turned into a slaughter ground (not a war zone or battle ground) as BBC stated today as The deadliest day of protest. Military and police slaughtered the civilians, and arrested the peaceful protesters brutally and mercilessly. The world needs to stop watching as Myanmar needs immediate help!!!!
May the people of Myanmar free from this dictatorship ASAP!!!
Please let's share this together.
Don't share. Repost on your wall.
Now Myanmar (not a war zone) has turned into a killing zone. The military and police who are supposed to protect the citizens are killing civilians without fear. The world needs to stop watching and provide effective help.

Please help me with this one.
Can't do anything about this
I think it would be that easy please.

Statement by the United Nations in Myanmar on reported airstrikes in Hpakant, Kachin State 25/10/2022

A blanket statement made by the United Nations and calling this attack to be disproportionate.

When a statement like this is made, there is no hope for the people of Burma. It feels as though we are just not important for them.

As what would be considered proportionate for them to take serious actions against the military juntas?
