Free modern family planning methods such as implanon and IUD are also available in our health centers.

The Iloilo Provincial Health Office joins the USAID’s Policy and Procedures Manual Workshop in Bacolod City to develop its Operations Manual to guide the operations of the Iloilo Provincial Government Family Planning Training Center (iFPTC).

Iloilo Provincial Government Family Planning Training Center by Iloilo Provincial Health Office is the FIRST PHO-MANAGED FPTC in the COUNTRY recognized by the Department of Health!

With the increasing demands for Family Planning services to improve maternal and child health, the PHO took the initiative to establish its own Family Planning Training Center to ensure the accessibility of FP trainings such as Family Planning Compentency-Based Training (FPCBT) Level I and Progestin-Only Subdermal Implant (PSI), with the support of the Iloilo Provincial Government, Department of Health, USAID Philippines, Dr. Jose Fabella Memorial Hospital, and its identified trainers.

IPG FPTC is now ready to accept clients for its FPCBT Level I from the FP Service Providers of Iloilo and its nearby provinces.
