Raising the flag together reminds us to uplift the lives of every Filipino, especially those who are uniquely abled.

This ceremony is in honor of National Disability Prevention and Rehabilitation Week, celebrating the abilities and contributions of persons with disabilities and promoting an inclusive Philippines for all.

Nang lusubin ng mga rebeldeng Maute ang Lungsod ng Marawi sa araw na ito pitong taon na ang nakararaan, naging sagisag ang ating Pambansang Watawat ng pag-asa at kapayapaan.

Sa mga pook na nabawi mula sa mga kalaban, masayang itinaas ang ating Watawat. Sumaludo kahit ang mga sugatang sundalo. Nagsilbi itong inspirasyon sa Salute To A Clean Flag Movement, isang pribadong kilusan na naglalayong palaganapin ang paggalang sa Watawat at ang pagpapakita nito nang malinis.

Kasama natin sila sa pagdiriwang ng National Flag Days. Magsasagawa sila ng palatuntunan sa Liwasang Park Luneta sa 28 Mayo, 8:00 am, kasama ang National Parks Development Committee, Armed Forces of the Philippines, at marami pang mga partner.
