ASEAN @ 50: P. DU30 vs. Sokors, CBCP, P. Noy, etc. 30/01/2017

If ASEAN is to achieve regional integration and lead to the desired “ASEAN Political-Security Community,” it must build stronger regional institutions.

ASEAN @ 50: P. DU30 vs. Sokors, CBCP, P. Noy, etc. The “ASEAN Community” defines itself as a concert of nations that are outward-looking; resilient, living in peace, stability and prosperity; and bonded in partnership for sustainable development among caring societies.

International terrorism in 2017: Prospects 16/01/2017

"How will Filipinos guard and protect themselves against the onslaught of extremist terror groups in 2017 and beyond? Not just purely military solutions will work. The 51 AFP battalions to be deployed against the Abu Sayyaf as claimed by AFP Chief Ed Año are woefully inadequate – if only conventional tactics are used, and are without supporting anti-poverty programs, deep pe*******on intelligence operations, community development, legislative reforms, and consistent leadership at all levels starting at the very top."

Let’s just hope...

P. Digong: Wage peace, not war, save lives 19/12/2016

FVR: “If peace and unity are truly your ultimate goals for the entire Filipino people, then we are with you President Duterte! Peace cannot be attained through violence. We must continue to pursue reforms and consultation on the peace process to lift our people of poverty. We implore you, President Duterte: WAGE PEACE, NOT WAR!”

P. Digong: Wage peace, not war, save lives This was the first time our President/Chief Executive/Commander-in-Chief/Team Leader of our huge and talented (but diverse and divided) national society of 102 million sounded truly loud, clear, strong, and sincere about unity and peace. In that message, which was well applauded throughout the land,...
