GROUP THERAPY FOR KIDS WHO STRUGGLE WITH FOCUS, ATTENTION AND ORGANIZATION

Kids with challenges in executive function often lack the ability to handle frustration (emotional regulation), start and finish tasks, recall and follow multi-step directions, stay on track, plan and prioritize as well as self-monitor. These are commonly seen in, but not limited to, kids with ADHD.

The good news is that Executive Function is a set of skills and like any skill, it can be learned. The Hatch Executive Function Class provides tools, strategies and regular practice, to help your child reach their maximum potential.

We’ve been getting numerous inquiries about 1-on-1 Speech Therapy. But with most Speech Therapists taking a leave to study for the Boards, we know that we will be fully booked for some time.

Instead of leaving all these kids without any kind of intervention, our solution is to offer SPOT Socials - Group Therapy that combines Speech and OT.

Of course there’s no substitute for 1-on-1 therapy, especially if your child’s DevPed recommended that, but we believe SPOT Socials is a good interim solution WHILE you wait to get a 1-on-1 speech and/or OT slot.

Learning how to read may seem like a daunting task, both for parents and kids.

But it doesn’t have to be!

It just takes practice, patience and activities that let your child enjoy reading 📖

We are very excited to launch the Hatch Multi Sensory Reading Class, designed to help preschoolers learn how to read through FUN, play-based activities that engage all the senses, from visual and hearing, to movement and touch.

The class will be facilitated by Teacher Ina, a Senior Speech Language Pathologist who is trained in the Multisensory Structured Language Approach to Reading.
