ISAC HOLDS ANNUAL MEETING
ELECTS JING CARINGAL AS NEW PRESIDENT
ISAC Philippines Foundation held its Annual Membership Meeting and General Elections today March 25, 2015 and amended its Articles of Incorporation and By-Laws.
Elected as new ISAC President is Jing Caringal, a former seafarer and a long time ISAC trustee and officer. The other members of the new ISAC board which has been reduced from fifteen to eleven, are seafarers Jose Xavier Bayoneta who was elected as Vice President and Eugenio Reynaldo Pasahol who was elected as Secretary, and Gregorio Cagod, Harry Esquivel, Jose Fuentes, together with seafarers and workers rights advocates Susan Cueva, Luz Perez, Gene Guiritan, Elna Malinao, and Hermes Entero.
A new Management Committee was created and the newly appointed members are Atty. Edwin Dela Cruz as Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Atty. Joseph Entero as Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Captain Anthony Dan Ogbinar as Executive Director.
Sionida Esquivel was also appointed as Treasurer.
President Jing Caringal calls on the new officers and members of ISAC to continue in their advocacy to advance the interests and rights of seafarers including those who are unemployed.
The new CEO Atty. Edwin Dela Cruz who was the ISAC past president welcomes the reorganization of ISAC as a step forward for greater administrative efficiency and responsiveness to the more demanding tasks ahead.

Qualifications:
- At least college graduate of any course
- With or without experience in NGO-related work
- Willing to be trained
- Proficient in English, both written and oral
- Computer literate, especially the use of Microsoft Office applications
