UP SAMAHAN SA AGHAM PAMPULITIKA 92
Muling Pagningasin ang Alab ng Makamasang Agham Pampulitika

Buong pagmamalaki naming ibinabahagi sa buong unibersidad, sa mga tagapagtaguyod ng agham pampulitika, at sa buong sambayanang Pilipinong nais naming mapaglingkuran, 92 taon na po ang UP SAPUL!

Hindi naging madali ang mga nagdaang panahon para sa Samahan, lalo na ang nakaraang lumipas na taon. Gayunpaman, hindi nagapi ang diwang Sapulista at muling nagbalik ang UP SAPUL – kaakibat ng maraming kapugay-pugay na bagay; muling naitayo ang pinakamatandang organisasyon sa departamento, naipagpatuloy ang diwang Sapulista sa gitna ng matinding krisis, at muling nagbukas ang pinto ng UP SAPUL bilang tahanan para sa mga tagapagtaguyod ng disiplinang ito. Higit pa rito, ang pinakamakabuluhang kaakibat ng muling pagtatatag sa UP SAPUL ay ang muling pagningas ng makamasang perspektiba sa disiplina ng agham pampulitika.

Sa lalo pang paglala ng kalagayang pampulitika sa lipunang Pilipino, lalo ring lumalaki ang pangangailangan sa agham pampulitika na naglilingkod sa interes ng sambayanan. Ngayon, higit kailanman, nararapat na sagutin ng UP SAPUL ang tawag ng panahon at tanganan ang papel nito bilang tagapamandila ng makamasang agham pampulitika.

Makailang beses nang tumugon sa hamon ng panahon ang UP SAPUL sa 92 taon nitong kasaysayan. Hindi na iba sa mga Sapulista ng mga nagdaang taon ang magsilbing tanglaw sa hanay ng mga mag-aaral tungo sa pinakamataas na antas ng paglilingkod. Sa patindi nang patinding kalagayan ng pulitika sa Pilipinas, hindi ngayon ang panahon upang umatras at maging kimi. Tangan-tangan muli kapwa ang sulo at maso, handa ang UP SAPUL na muling tumindig sa nararapat nitong puwesto at pandayin ang lipunan tungo sa tugatog ng kamalayang pampulitika.

Ang 92 taon ng UP SAPUL ay hindi magiging posible kung hindi dahil sa matibay nitong pundasyon. Ang mga Sapulista ng kasalukuyan ay nakatuntong sa balikat ng libo-libong Sapulistang nagdaan at nakasandig sa buong sambayanang Pilipino. Bagaman marami pa ring pagsubok na kinahaharap at kakaharapin ang Samahan, matibay ang paniniwala ng UP SAPUL na kayang-kaya nating isakatuparan ang diwa ng makamasang agham pampulitika.

The food sponsorship for jeepney drivers were turned over to the National Confederation of Transportworkers Union (NCTU) based in Mandaluyong.

In behalf of Dr. Jose N. Rodriguez Memorial Hospital and Sanitarium, we would like to thank the donors and the team who prepared the healthy and delicious lunch of our frontliners on August 21, 2020. Thank you for thinking about the welfare of the medical frontliners in our institution, one of the designated Covid-19 referral hospitals in the National Capital Region.

From 25 July to 14 August 2020, we have raised a total of Php62,420.00 which took us to two rounds of food sponsorships for the 300 healthcare workers at the Dr. Jose N. Rodriguez Memorial Medical Hospital, Tala Caloocan. The food sponsorships were held on 11 August and 21 August 2020. It would not have been possible without the donors who responded to our call. Thank you very much.

Lunch delivered! We have made the first food donation to 300 healthworkers in various units at the Jose N Rodriguez Memorial Hospital in Tala, Caloocan. Maraming salamat sa Dar al Jameela for the catering service. They promptly delivered the nutritious lunch on eco-friendly individual packaging. Maraming maraming salamat sa mga nagdonate, tumulong at sumuporta sa inisyatibong ito.
