Talk 2: The Jesus Platform

We are the platform of Jesus. How we live our lives should be a manifestation of God’s great love and faithfulness. Just like our Blessed mother Mary, whose “yes” made her the first “influencer” of God. We are all influencers - to our families, friends, colleagues, neighbors. May they always see Jesus in us.- Sis Pearl Naig

The Spirit Empowerment Summit is the main highlight of what we do in the SoG community. It is where the presence of God and His l❤️ve is deeply felt making people want for more.
Laughters will echo in the venue walls, while in the silence of each one’s heart the Holy Spirit move ablaze for renewal.
Coming out of SES is guaranteed a new purpose of living and a richer encounter with faith.

Talk 1- Likers and Followers of Christ

Each one of us has a personal brand. We can use this to influence more people to follow Jesus and know Him more. Sometimes it will not be easy but we should be anchored to His word and we should have an integrity of faith. It means that following Jesus has to be biblical not emotional. - Sis Tala Prado

Mark 7: 21-23

The Lord gave a gift in the ten commandments to His chosen people. It is a covenant and symbol that He is always present. It is a gift that we must receive, just like the word of God. Once we receive and live by the words of God, we will be more motivated to care for one another. The word of God will ground us to be better Christians and purify our hearts.

KIDS PRAISE CAMP is a safe space for children ages 5 and up who want to make friends and learn how to pray through dance and movements. Here, we aim to enrich the lives of the children by nurturing fun and faithfilled learning that results in self-respect, appreciation for human value and love for God. KP Campers will have the opportunity to lead the dance worship during the Spirit Empowerment Summit on September 29, 2024. Join the fun!

God Himself promotes working together, that the collective maybe diverse but can stand together as one with a common objective; to become better as individuals and as faithful servants.
How we can attain this? Through cooperation, coordination, collaboration and commitment.

Talk Series 2: The Difficult Level

Difficult people are everywhere and will be around us forever, because they are there for a reason.
Prayer with fasting is very effective as we entrust that God will do the battle for us.
3 Steps to deal with difficult people:
1. Differentiate (wisdom to know the difference)
2. Navigate (know what you can tolerate or not)
3. Communicate (speak graciously)

Just like prophet Elijah in the gospel today, we are faced with many challenges. In our work and in our daily life we want to say, Lord I am exhausted I need a break. But the good news is, the Lord always send an angel to help. In our dryness, in our emptiness and in our question marks God always send His help so we can continue our journey. How this help comes?
We are all chosen here in this community. God chooses those He wanted to equip, not because one is better than the other. -Fr. Stephen Mifsud

The Multiplication of Bread
Blessings and miracles are everywhere if we know how to acknowledge them. Following Christ gives us the greater opportunity to experience these miracles.
Miracles happen because of God’s compassion and His generosity. For us Christian Catholics, the more we give our offerings (our time, treasures and talents), the more we are provided abundantly. And God does not want us to waste our blessings. - Fr. Boogie Tacdoro.
