⚖ Finding balance matters and it begins with us! ️✨

At PPIS-RED, we believe practising work-life integration is key to creating a seamless fusion of personal and professional responsibilities, enabling a more fluid approach to managing daily life. Unlike the traditional approach of balancing—where work and personal life are seen as two separate entities competing for our time, integration merges these two aspects into a cohesive whole that supports a more fulfilling lifestyle. The benefits of this integrated approach are manifold, including enhanced productivity and creativity, as well as significantly reducing stress levels.

By promoting work-life integration, we hope to catalyse a mindset shift on the prevailing work culture in Singapore that have led to burnout and exhaustion for many individuals. This change is essential for cultivating a more supportive and inclusive work environment, ensuring sustained productivity given the high average working hours in Singapore. 🤝

Let us work together to create a society where everyone can thrive both at home and at work. 🏠✨

Photos from PPIS RED - Research & Engagement Department's post 01/07/2024

🏠 Equality begins at home! 🌟

At PPIS-RED, we believe practising joint domestic responsibilities is a collective responsibility, and key to nurturing a fairer and more equitable society. When we share the caring and household load, we are not just dividing tasks – we are creating space for both women and men to pursue their highest dreams, careers, and passions.

By advocating for the sharing of domestic responsibilities, we hope to ignite a mindset change on traditional gender norms and stereotypes, including the disproportionate burden of care work typically borne by women. This is especially important given Singapore's rapidly ageing population, where almost three in four caregivers are women.

Let us work together to create a world where equality and fairness thrive, starting from the comfort of our homes. 💪✨

30/06/2024

Today, PPIS-RED celebrates the energy, creativity, and potential of our youths. May your dreams take flight and your resolutions turn into reality. Happy Youth Day! 🌟

Allyship in Action! 💪🤝

Male allies are essential in our journey towards gender equality; using their voices and actions to empower marginalised communities and challenge the systems that have held them back.

By working together, we can create a world that is more just, equitable, and inclusive for all. As we approach Father's Day , let's commemorate the importance of male allyship in achieving gender equality and celebrate the men who are leading the way! 🌍✨
