✨️Recently, we had board games session @ Serenity Cancer Care & it brought out the playful side of our beloved beneficiaries!

🔥They constantly put their best foot forward and was determined to try the new array of games.

Amidst the big emotions that comes with having cancer, they have found for themselves pockets and moments of happiness here ❤️

There were hearty laughs and wide smiles all around.

If it makes them happy, that is all that matters! 😊

✨Last week, we had an absolute blast coming together with our beneficiaries for a fun-filled bowling event! From seasoned pros to first-time bowlers, everyone showed up with enthusiasm, making the day truly unforgettable.

The event was filled with laughter and excitement, putting big smiles on everyone. Let’s keep this spirit alive and continue to show that as a community, we are stronger together. Here’s to many more moments of fun, hope, and unity! 🎳

Last week, our beloved beneficiaries were all geared up with the right attire and shoes for Zumba. Facilitated by physical instructor, Ms. Freda, everyone was ready to move their bodies to the upbeat music. It was a fun workout filled with many positive energies, showcasing true endurance & resilience in the lives of the cancer survivors!🕺🏻

✨️Baking @ Serenity is open to our dear beneficiaries who want to learn how to make delicious treats!

👉🏻 Baking helps focus the mind, avoid negative thoughts and feelings, and improve mood.

✨️Recently, we had two sessions on how to bake fruit tarts. Smile & laughter filled the centre throughout both sessions. We are always in awe with their determination to take on new challenges.

Together, we knead, bake & sprinkle a little extra love in each fruit tart 🍒

This Mother’s Day, Ain Society hosted a special celebration to honor the resilience of our female cancer patients. The event, attended by cancer patients, caregivers, and guests, aims to uplift and recognise the unique challenges faced by mothers battling cancer. They embody the true essence of strength and dedication. 💖

We were privileged to have our distinguished guest, Hetty Koes Endang joining us, whose heartwarming and energetic performance uplifted the mood and spirit of everyone present.

✨️Serenity cancer care provides an outlet of creative expression as one of its program for the members who are affected with cancer.

Last week our staff organized a Batik painting session at our Serenity cancer care center.

The session offered a tranquil escape, allowing the members to immerse themselves in the soothing process of creating art.

It was a moment of serenity for them amidst their challenges,using art as a powerful tool for emotional well-being. 🎨🕊️

✨ Through our collaboration with Brain Tumour Society Singapore, our youth clients engaged in a delightful baking programme where they forged new friendships and cultivate a strong sense of belonging.

Together, they bonded over delicious treats of Hershey pies and form a meaningful experience!

🔥 Fight back through gardening

To show our support for the cancer community, we've joined the "My Fight Back Challenge" initiated by Singapore Cancer Society.

Our members who are *survivors of cancer* participate in therapeutic gardening activities aimed at fostering healing and connection. Painting pots and pebbles allows them to express themselves creatively while planting seeds offers a tangible way to nurture life and growth — it's also a form of exercise! 🌱💪

Engaging in these activities provides them with a sense of calm and respite from the challenges they face. This symbolizes our collective fight against cancer. ❤️✨

Last Saturday, we gathered for a heartfelt Aidilfitri support group session, surrounded by our cherished members, enveloped in an atmosphere of warmth and joy where every moment was deeply cherished. It brought us immense happiness to see everyone enjoying the array of games on that special day.

Amidst our festivities, we took a moment to honor the memory of our dear ones who passed away in the last year. Hari Raya now holds a much deeper significance for us, as we hold them close in our hearts and treasure their memories eternally.

A heartfelt thank you goes out to our resource person for gracing us with your presence—it truly meant the world to have you join us on this special occasion. Until we gather again next year, Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri, Maaf Zahir and Batin! 🌟✨💚

✨ We are truly humbled and grateful to be a part of the Hari Raya Istana Open House festivities last Sunday.

We thank everyone who came to our booth to experience wearing the Malay Traditional Costume, play the Congkak and Five stones as well as purchase handmade items especially made by our Handicraft Special Interest Group.

Ain Society has launched our new initiative called Rimbunan Pelangi; adopt a child with cancer scheme.

Through this initiative, donors can choose to support the following:

✨ Children battling cancer and their families with a monthly contribution of $400 per month for a year.

✨ Adopt a child who is continuing their education despite their cancer diagnosis, with a yearly commitment of $1000 per child.

✨Join Us in Empowering Wellness: Recently, we partnered with to host a special dinner for families affected by cancer.

The event, titled "Wellness Starts with Us," featured expert talks on the importance of healthy habits during Ramadhan and the value of regular exercise. We also had insightful sessions from nurses about the importance of post-treatment check-ups.

This year, Ain Society's Aidilfitri Disbursement for Beneficiaries with Cancer brought smiles to over 600 individuals and families affected by cancer, thanks to the generous contributions from our donor and with the support of our Patron, Madam Halimah Yacob.

Mdm Halimah Yacob launched our new initiative called Rimbunan Pelangi; adopt a child with cancer scheme. Through this initiative, donors can choose to support children battling cancer and their families with a monthly contribution of $400 per month for a year. Alternatively, they can opt to adopt a child who is continuing their education despite their cancer diagnosis, with a yearly commitment of $1000 per child.

Aside from honouring volunteers and caregivers, here are the highlights of our award:

🔵 Blue Lotus: This award honours those who have been with Ain Society for 5 years and attended 30 sessions of transformative support.

🔴 Red Sunrise: This award honours those who have been with Ain Society for 7 years and attended 40 heartfelt sessions.

🟣 Pink Star: This award recognizes individuals who, after a decade and 50 sessions, have actively engaged in Ain Society's programs.

❤️ Last Wednesday, our beneficiaries delved into the wonders of nature, crafting their own miniature ecosystems in our terrarium workshop.

Guided by skilled instructors, each creation tells a story of resilience and perseverance. 🌱✨

❤️ On this International Childhood Cancer Day, we stand united in raising awareness and showing our support for children and adolescents battling cancer.

Our mini baking program brings joy to our young heroes as we whip up delicious chocolate muffins together. Let's sprinkle some sweetness and support these brave hearts as we add a little magic into their lives! 🧁🌟
