青年市长竞赛将于2025年4月11日至13日在新加坡举行。

青年市长2025普吉岛竞赛本质上是一个城市规划创意竞赛，旨在改善当地、地区或城市，在这个例子中则是一个岛屿！参赛者将研究普吉岛及其周边地区的现状，然后他们将提出更多开发或自然保护的理由。他们会问的问题是“需要或不需要什么样的改进？”这些想法可以是积极的或被动的。是否需要更多的基础设施、更广泛的社会项目或大规模的经济重组？第一轮——提交书面提案（20页，不包括附录）；第二轮——在一个批判性和客观的专家小组面前阐述他们的想法；第三轮——美化并向VIP评委展示他们的模型（4小时）。

自2012年以来，许多学校、大学和国际学校都参与了这一活动，赞助商和支持者也全心全意地投入时间和捐款。最重要的是，文学院、人文学院、建筑学院和工程学院都接受了这个需要广泛技能的城市规划竞赛的理念，这些技能包括植物学、生态学、交通系统、市政工程、历史、人类学、遗产研究等。我们的建筑环境包含许多方面，我们对地球也没有备用计划！

The Young Mayor competition winners with Minister Khaw Boon Wan at the World Cities Summit. The winning entries and models were displayed outside the main auditorium, with many of our participating students and teachers interacting with city officials and Mayors at this 3-day conference.

1998 my final year dissertation on "Community Participation in Planning with Vegetable Plots" focusing on resettled farmers to Public Housing estates. Fast forward today and the "community in bloom" projects is a smashing success thanks to the good folks at NParks and the grassroot leaders!

If you know of any needy Muslim families who need packed food during the Ramadan, help them to register online to collect food at their nearest Community Centre.

Registration for the daily meals can be made via www.bukapuasa.sg from 18 April 2020 onwards.

Meals will be available for collection at 20 CCs across Singapore daily from 24 April 2020 to 23 May 2020 between 5.15 p.m. and 6.15 p.m. Residents who have registered for the meals are reminded to bring along their NRIC when collecting the meals at the CCs. Precautionary measures such as putting on face masks, temperature taking and safe distancing measures will be strictly implemented. Zakat beneficiaries will have their meals delivered to their homes, while healthcare professionals who are on duty will receive the packed meals delivered to their respective hospitals.
