Thanks to the generous support of our donors, our charity was able to disburse $163,610 through IWANTTOGOHOME (IWGH) Fund to support 242 needy patients for the first 5 months of 2024.

Patients who require financial assistance through this fund often struggle with out-of-pocket expenses for interim dialysis as they discharge from TTSH.

You can support our patients by making a donation to the Interim Dialysis For Needy Patients campaign, or by sharing this post with your friends.

Mr Tan* suffers from conditions affecting his spinal cord. Despite undergoing surgery, he still experiences numbness throughout his body, making it challenging to walk and perform daily tasks, such as taking care of his children.

Facing financial strain due to his inability to work, Mr Tan sought assistance from our Charity and received a 4-wheeled Personal Mobility Device (PMD). TTSH Community Fund also covers maintenance costs, including wheels and battery replacements. With the PMD, Mr Tan can now navigate his daily life and attend medical appointments at TTSH with greater ease.

Your contributions will support our programmes, helping us bring hope to many more individuals like Mr Tan. Learn more here: for.sg/support-ttshcf.

โ€˜Together, As One United Peopleโ€™ is the theme for this yearโ€™s National Day celebrations. It highlights the collective strength of our people and underscores the importance of every citizen rallying together to shape our future and uplift those around us.

This theme also emphasises the power of care and the vital role each of us plays in creating healthier societies and driving growth, which in turn promotes better health for all. We have also launched the Health for Generations Fund, a dedicated fund to make healthcare more sustainable by supporting developments in key areas such as innovation, preventive healthcare, and capability advancement. Our goal is to raise $18 million over the next five years for this new fund. If you'd like to support our mission, you may do so at for.sg/ttshcfonlineform.

The HGF will underpin important work across four pillarsโ€”Innovation, Capability Advancement, Preventive Healthcare, and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG)โ€”all aligned with our framework for Sustainability.

We envision a transformative health system committed to driving innovation, advancing health equity for the vulnerable, and fostering environmental and social sustainability for the health of our people and our planet.

In an evolving society, equitable access to care is important for progress. Many of our patients, especially the elderly sick, are facing financial struggles and mobility issues.

Your support helps these patients afford the services and equipment required for timely discharge from the hospital and prevents re-admissions while also supporting healthcare research, training, and innovation for better patient care. This helps ease their financial burdens for a better recovery at home.

To commemorate TTSH's 180th Anniversary and honor Mr Tan Tock Seng's legacy of giving, we've launched the Legacy 180 campaign: for.sg/giving-legacy180. You can make an even greater impact by setting up a monthly recurring donation. Your consistent support ensures that we can continue helping those in need.
