The number one thing that stands in people's way to grow, change, and develop is their ability to change their habits. The will is there but we have been brainwashed into thinking that changing our habits is difficult.
But what if we knew that change is easy if you have the right knowledge and the right tools? In Your Impact on Others: Authentic Self-Leadership to Inspire Teams, Grant encourages you to understand behaviour from the 'inside-out' of neuroscience and how the brain works, while also keeping an eye on the 'outside-in:' how we understand others and how others see us.
He makes the process easy by providing a change assessment that shows you where you personally need to focus, and then with deliberate care, provides the bite-size knowledge and tools that will enable you to make a transformation in areas that are most important for YOU to lead yourself more authentically and have more intentional positive impact on others.

A message from the High Commissioner of South Africa to Singapore, HE Madiepetsane Charlotte Lobe on the upcoming Global Women Trade Summit of the IWFCI, August 2024, Johannesburg
Women's economic and financial inclusion is a cornerstone for sustainable development because it increases access of over 50% of the world population to financial resources and economic opportunities including jobs, property and other productive assets, skills development and market information. With women constituting 52% of the global population, exclusion of women will mean that our economies will lose the potential of over 50 percent of its population.
Women participation in global trade remains low accounting for about 15% according to the World Trade Organization. This is despite the fact that global trade is part of the fabric of everyday life and plays a major role in economic growth. Increasing women's participation in the economy will no doubt increase productivity and trade opportunities, leading to greater economic diversification, innovation, and poverty reduction.
It is estimated that the gender gap in global trade will take more than a century to close at the current rate of policy reform. Nonetheless, there is a general agreement that closing the gender gap in trade will benefit businesses and entire economies.
It is time we reflect on how best we can accelerate global trade policy reform to support women in their quest to shape the global economy, as workers, consumers, and entrepreneurs. As they say: "A woman alone has power, but collectively women have impact." Their participation in the economy can deliver both societal progress and economic empowerment.
As the patron of the International Womenβs Federation in Commerce and Industry (IWFCI) South Africa, I am looking forward to the 8th installment of the Global Womenβs Trade Summit (GWTS) to be held in Johahannesburg, South Africa on the 28th and 29th of August 2024. The Global Summit is hosted by the IWFCI. The Global Summit will connect businesswomen across the globe to explore business and market potential. In the past, it has attracted women captains of industry, leaders, entrepreneurs, and professionals serving as C-suite executives.
I am particularly delighted that the 8th GWTS will take place in SA, the land of the Rainbow Nation inspired by the African Spirit of Ubuntu. It will hosted in the African soil for the first time, this is a milestone that should be celebrated. South Africa is revered as the continent's financial hub and has a sophisticated banking sector with a major footprint in the rest of the African contitent.
South Africa also offers a supportive and growing ecosystem as a center of innovation, technology, and fintech. It has an extensive and modern infrastructure network and is endowed with an abundance of natural resources. It is also a gateway into the continent of Africa and hosts a number of companies that have a footprint in some countries in Africa.
As you prepare to join this exciting summit, I have four asks:
1. Trade with SA
2. Invest in SA
3. Visit SA
4. Be a Friend of SA
