Galina graduated with a Bachelors in Biomedical Sciences from University College London (UCL) and a Masters in Physiotherapy from Brunel University London. She is currently a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (UK) and is a licensed Physiotherapist under the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). She is also an L2 World Rugby-certified medic and has previous experience as Team Physio for the London Broncos Rugby League team.
Galina has previously worked in Neuro-rehabilitation wards, ICU and Cardiac ICU wards in London, UK, and has a passion for helping patients return to a healthy, active lifestyle. This passion comes from being an active athlete and dancer, having competed in various National dance competitions and Ultimate Frisbee leagues in the UK back in the day! She therefore understands the importance of being physically independent, what it’s like to be limited by injury, and the impact an injury can have on both our physical and mental well-being.
In her free time, Galina freelances as a Graphic Designer, and plays Gaelic Football with the Singapore Gaelic Lions (SGL). She also loves to travel, explore new places, and try out their local food!
As a trained Physiotherapist, Galina can also include a combination of deep tissue massage, assisted stretching, proprioceptive neural facilitation (PNF) stretching, and exercise prescription during your Sports Massage sessions, depending on your condition, needs and goals!

Due to the contact nature of Rugby, injuries tend to be prevalent. These range from trauma-induced injuries (such as concussions) to non-trauma related injuries (such as muscle tears).
With 22% of all rugby players having sustained at least one concussion during a rugby match, and concussion being the most commonly reported injury in women’s rugby, it is imperative that we are able to identify, manage and treat injuries order to optimise recovery!
Head to our new blog post if you’d like to read more on common rugby injuries and how physio can help!

A question we’re asked quite frequently is “What is Osteopathy?”

Our very own Osteopath, Jordan is here to answer that question today.

You can also find more details on our website!

27/09/2023

Meet our Physio!
Cian graduated with a BSc in Physiotherapy from University College Dublin, Ireland in 2018. Over the past 5 years, Cian has predominantly plied his trade in elite sport in the UK, most recently as Senior Academy Physiotherapist at Reading FC. During this time, Cian also received a scholarship to research Hip Injuries in Premier League footballers which he completed in conjunction with AFC Bournemouth. Alongside this, Cian has worked with England Senior Men’s Disability squads. Cian has also obtained qualifications in pitch side trauma management with The FA (ATMMiF), Dry Needling and has experience working with the General population as a First Contact Physiotherapist. He is a member of the Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists, the Allied Health Professionals Council (Singapore) and the Health and Care Professions Council (United Kingdom).
Cian specialises in a wide range of musculoskeletal and sporting injuries including acute foot/ankle, knee, hip and muscle injuries alongside chronic conditions such as tendinopathies and lower back pain. He also has vast experience with return to sport post-op management. Cian uses evidence-based treatment, exercise prescription, massage/trigger point release and dry needling to treat these conditions.
In his spare time Cian enjoys Gaelic football, soccer and running, training weekly and completing long distance races on occasions.
Cian believes in a patient centred approach to rehabilitation which addresses the underlying causative factor to create an individual who is stronger and more robust than pre-injury which allows for a pain free return to work/life/sport and prevents injury reoccurrence.
