The 23rd District is in the 2nd Division of the Department of Alabama.
The district represents thirteen American Legion Posts across four counties in Central Alabama.

The ceremony entitled "Keep the Spirit of '45 Alive" (refer to the attached flyer) changed a lot according to the National Cemetery Association, so Pam Nichols and the SCALNC members decided to at least have a small remembrance with a wreath-laying and the playing of Taps at the Alabama National Cemetery on Mon., 14 Aug 23, 10:00 a.m.
