Each year, FASNY and the Youth in the Fire Service Committee host dozens of Junior Firefighters, Explorers, and RAMS for hands-on experience and competition, performing evolutions like live fire ops, ventilation, hydrant operations, emergency bailout, and decontamination.

Today's agenda was packed with insightful sessions and inspiring moments! We were honored to have Rep. Claudia Tenney join us, followed by a powerful presentation from Dr. Candice McDonald, Chief of Protective Services at NASA's Glenn Research Center.
We also celebrated our Fire Safety Educator of the Year award winner and dove into important discussions during the Two Percent Tax Forum.

On July 9, 2023, this heroic team braved a severe storm and washed-out roads to rescue a 10-year-old child, their critically ill father, and nine stranded hikers.
