The America’s Conservation Enhancement (ACE) Reauthorization Act is an important piece of legislation for America’s anglers and currently up for reauthorization. Amongst other provisions, the ACE Act would:
▪️ Reauthorize the National Fish Habitat Partnership, which brings together local, state and federal partners to coordinate and conduct on-the-ground aquatic habitat restoration projects for the benefit of recreational fishing
▪️ Protect lead fishing tackle from unwarranted EPA regulation for the next five years
▪️ Reauthorize and boost funding for programs critical to the health of the Chesapeake Bay, the nation’s largest estuary and a critical nursery for sportfish throughout the Atlantic region.
The Senate version has already passed and now we need your help to get it approved by the U.S. House. Tell your Rep. to support the ACE Act today! https://www.votervoice.net/KAF/campaigns/116777/respond

The North Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission (NCWRC) is proposing to cancel the 2024 recreational flounder season for inland waters following the coastal waters closure by the North Carolina Division of Marine Fisheries (NCDMF).
The recreational fishery for flounder in NC is economically important to fishing-dependent businesses and enjoyed by the expanding number of recreational anglers across the state and throughout the southeast. This closure puts undue harm on businesses and recreational anglers without the necessary data to support such uncompromising management.
Make your voice heard! Tell NCWRC and NCDMF to consider alternative management strategies and protect access for recreational anglers. https://www.votervoice.net/KAF/campaigns/116644/respond
