Volunteers toured our Chew Street property and helped us tidy the flower beds outside, then they visited our Community Building Center and deep cleaned the building. We’ve been busy little bees (or should we say butterflies 🦋) at RCI over the last few weeks! We’ve been caring for caterpillars who are becoming butterflies, planting flowers, and creating butterfly-themed art projects. Soon, we will announce the winners of our butterfly naming contest and release our friends to enjoy the freshly-planted garden.🪻🌻

This week, RCI's Community Building Center celebrated something very special - community member and volunteer Paul's 80th birthday! If you've ever been to the community center you know Paul as our daily greeter. He welcomes every person who comes through our doors from Tuesday through Saturday and is like family to our community. Paul has been a part of RCI from the very beginning, and we were thrilled to celebrate this day with him. Happy birthday, Paul!

We can’t wait until we can welcome more of our neighbors into their new homes once we’ve completed construction at RCI Village West.
