Gospel Stories•Learning a Different Tune
It was Terry & Helen Vanderwerf’s (Mexico) largest music camp ever—214 campers and staff. During the ten days, campers received musical instruction and improved instrumental skills, while learning more about their relationship with God. Some trusted in Jesus for salvation. Some made deeper commitments to Christ.
One girl for whom the Vanderwerfs were praying left two days before the end. She returned a day later for the last special dinner, to see her new friends, and to play in the final recitals and concert. God is at work in her life. She saw a big difference between her school classmates and the teens that she met at camp.

Gospel Stories•Growing in Grace
The young man came to Craig & Debbie Borgard’s Bible study in their
apartment in Germany. The Borgards prayed regularly for his salvation and God answered that prayer!
Craig & Debbie are encouraged by the Lord’s work in his life. He began attending church, became a member, and got involved in different ways. He is currently reading the Bible with unbelievers. Now he is dating a young lady from the church. They come together to the Borgards’ home and listen to sermons in English.
Craig & Debbie are excited to see the Lord working in and through him and the other young adults in their church.
Gospel Stories•A Prayer Meeting Conversion
The woman had come to a New Year’s Eve gathering as well as a Valentine’s service. Then a church member invited her to a prayer meeting. Since she was an unbeliever and the meeting would be focused on prayer, Johan & Haruko Strydom (Japan) wondered how that would work out! Would it be best for Haruko to go for coffee with her while the others prayed?
She arrived late but did not want to leave the room. She said that she felt great love and peace there. She saw the hearts and concern of those praying for the lost. When they were alone, Haruko shared the gospel with her. She trusted in Jesus as her Lord and Savior! God truly works in amazing ways!
