The VMSS PTO is having a spring plant Gertens fundraiser!

Last Thursday we inducted new members into our National Junior Honor Society chapter. We thank you 8th grade members and wish you luck at AVHS in the Fall. Our keynote speaker was Eli Schlichting, 2023 VMSS Leadership Scholarship winner. We want to wish Eli the best as he prepares to further his education at NDSU.

Apple Valley High School to host annual breakfast to educate high school and middle school students about future career paths.

April 6, 2023 (Apple Valley, Minnesota) – Apple Valley High School (AVHS) will host its annual Grit to Great breakfast on April 12, 2023, to gather female students and professionals from across a wide variety of industries. At the breakfast, students will be empowered to pursue careers underrepresented by female professionals, such as engineering, science, construction, law, and first responders, through conversations, sharing stories, and networking.

VMSS families, join us for our 1st annual STEM Family Night on Thursday, April 20th from 5:30pm-7:30pm. Enjoy hands on STEM activities, performances from our dance classes and drama club, food trucks, robotics demonstrations, and more!

Valley Middle School of STEM will be hosting our 2nd annual 7th Grade Career Day on Friday February 17th, at VMSS from 8:00am-11:00am. We invite parents and guardians or family friends to come and share their careers. Our goal is to expose our students to as many different career opportunities as we can, what is needed to have that career and the importance of establishing good habits as a student.

What a great night of concerts for our seventh and eighth grade bands, and ensembles!
It is so fun to hear such great music.
Thank you parents for your attendance as it is a great way to support your musician’s hard work.

What a great night of 6th grade band concerts!

3 bands in all. What an awesome number of kids in band. The students did outstanding. So fun for them to share their love of music with all of us. Thank you parents for coming to support your musician and thank you band directors for putting all of these performances together.

Some of our Leadership kids volunteered with Mrs. Vaillancourt Friday night at the Project Explore Holiday dance.

Food drive was a huge success! Thank you leadership class students for organizing and our awesome students and families who brought in donations. Mission Outpost at Prince of Peace
Special shout out to Mrs. Vaillancourt for all her hard work and the wrestling team for loading it all up for delivery!
