Why I Relay Wednesday: Join us on Wednesdays to learn more about our participants and their stories! Today, meet Jana Lowery...
"I relay for my husband (my biggest cheerleader), my 91 year old mother who buried her best friend (my father) 4 months ago, my four adult children and their spouses, and my two beautiful grandchildren, so that they do NOT have to go through the cancer and treatment that I have gone through in the past year. I never want them or their children to have this experience personally! I relay for medical advances that found my cancer early, and therefore, I have a quality of life. I relay for future medical advances to protect my family."
We are so thankful for participants like Jana who rally their family and friends in an effort to fight back against cancer and share their stories!
Show some love and support to Jana in the comments. If you would like to share your story, please DM us.
