Why not run a search at the mothership Hands On Atlanta site and sign up for something today? https://www.handsonatlanta.org/

If you were signed up for this Saturday's Kickoff then you should have already received a note with the bad news: the HOA Mothership has declared that TeamWorks will be going on pause for the rest of 2020 due to the pandemic. It's a bummer, but it's the right thing to do. Watch this space though, as chances are we will attempt another 'virtual' round soon.
In the meantime, we encourage you to participate in the annual Hands On Atlanta Week, happening from 10/3 - 10/10, 2020. Follow this link for more info and to sign up: https://www.handsonatlanta.org/week

Soo... Our first ever VIRTUAL TeamWorks! Round kicks off on August 1!
We have some projects that will allow us to SAFELY “make a friend, make a difference” in our community.
Since this is virtual, signing up on the Hands on Atlanta site is more important than ever because that’s our only way of knowing who will be participating this round.
We hope to see you soon! @ Atlanta, Georgia
We miss creating new memories with our TeamWorks friends, but we hope to change that soon #🙃 #🤫 #😉 (more on that in the coming days).. in the meantime, please stay safe!

Atlanta, we hear you.
Thousands of you have taken to the streets to peacefully protest. Thank you. Thank you for leading, for standing up and for saying enough is enough. We hear you and we march with you in solidarity, advocating for racial justice and the end to violence against the Black community. More simply put, we believe black lives matter.

Ah, dang it, today should have been the third kickoff of 2020 and right now we would have been sharing a meal near HOA HQ and getting to know one another. : ( Fear not, TeamWorks will return when things are safe. In the meantime, please consider volunteering on your own (or with friends 6 feet apart!) if a project catches your eye:

From us to you!!!
Hi, all. Andy McMillan here. Just wanted to post -- with firsthand knowledge from this afternoon -- and say that if you're missing volunteering, the HOA & APS food distribution events feel just like a TeamWorks project. Minus some of the social aspects, of course, since everyone is masked and bagging groceries 6 feet apart. I went ahead and signed up again for next Friday afternoon at the Phoenix / Crim High School location. If you'd like to see a familiar (masked) face, come out and join me!
[**I acknowledge that I'm in the unique position of living and teleworking alone however, and am risking no one's health but my own. Stay safe, everyone.**]

What is everyone doing to pass the time?!?
Please share, since most of our routines have changed!
Due to current public health concerns surrounding COVID-19 (aka Coronavirus), we will NOT have the second round of TeamWorks (no kickoff on March 14 nor will we officially attend any projects as a group).
Everyone’s health and safety are important to us, so we encourage you to take care of yourselves by following guidelines from the CDC, local officials and other credible resources.
With that being said, Hands on Atlanta partners (and other non-profits) will likely still need help, so you can continue to volunteer for opportunities in whatever ways you feel comfortable.
We hope to see you soon!
