Hands On Atlanta

Last week volunteers from Constellation joined us in Grant Park to spread mulch, beautify the park and help prep for their annual Summer Shade Festival.

On Saturday, Aug. 17, volunteer with Olmsted Linear Park Alliance to beautify their greenspace! Participants will perform light to moderate level of work including: weeding, mulching, picking up debris/trash, and cleaning signage.

Park Clean Up & Forest Restoration Volunteers will remove invasive non-native plant material in the forest; mulch shrub beds, pick up trash, and clean signage throughout Olmsted Linear Park.

On Saturday, Aug. 17, volunteer with Concrete Jungle in harvesting thousands of pounds of apples from a gorgeous, hillside apple orchard in Tiger, GA to donate to local food pantries! Volunteers will help us pick apples and afterward, picnic and adventure at Bull Sluice on the Chattooga River, where you can watch kayakers and rafters tackle the current.
