On Sunday, April 11th, he was needlessly gunned down by a Minneapolis police officer during a traffic stop.

As we prepare to lay him to rest, we want to remember Daunte for who he was: a father, son, and an unarmed Black man who deserved to be alive today.

We will continue to hold Daunte’s family + loved ones close, especially on this day.
