State Charter Schools Commission Internships The State Charter Schools Commission (SCSC) of Georgia is a state agency located in Atlanta, Georgia that operates as an independent authorizer for charter schools.

Announcement! The SCSF will soon be accepting applications for CSP subgrants for opening, replicating, and expanding charter schools/networks.

The application portal will open next week, on Wednesday, June 26, at 10:00 a.m. ET. Prospective applicants are encouraged to attend the Subgrant Webinar at 3:00 p.m. ET on Thursday, June 27. Registration is required.

Friday night lights took on a whole new level as the varsity baseball teams from the Academy for Classical Education and Baconton Community Charter School went head-to-head at the iconic Truist Park, home of the Atlanta Braves!

Cheering on both teams as they played on a major league field was truly inspiring. The game was a fantastic display of skill, sportsmanship, and the spirited community that our charter schools nurture. Thanks to both schools and the Atlanta Braves for making this a memorable event! 🎉 ⚾️
