We’re thrilled to announce that Professor Inquiry – Don’t Eat the Brownie has won a 2024 Southeast Regional Emmy Award and a Telly Award! This film, a collaboration between the FCS Communications Broadcast Department and The Teaching Museum, creatively teaches middle school students about photography.
Kudos to the creative team: Producer/Director Randy Stewart, Producer/Writer Jena Sebille, Producer Mike Santrock, Editor Jeremiah Mitchell, Cinematographer Kyle Rowe, Assistant Producer Kelsey Caudle, and Executive Producer Brian Noyes.
Our team also earned:
• Silver Telly Award for the Roswell High School Senior Spotlight on Brooke Morgan, produced by Randy Stewart with Kyle Rowe.
• Bronze Telly Award for the North Springs High School Senior Spotlight on Isaac Delaney, produced by Randy Stewart with Kelsey Caudle and Sheryl Gripper.

Fulton County Schools is proud to honor Karen Alexander from Paul D. West Middle School for her Outstanding Achievement in Computer Science.
Ms. Alexander founded the FIRST LEGO League Robotics team, sparking creativity and teamwork in her students. She’s also expanded the program with Python Programming and hands-on projects using Arduino and Raspberry Pi.
Notably, she’s inspired more female students to pursue computer science, addressing the gender gap in the field. Her dedication earned her the Outstanding Achievement in Computer Sciences Award at the 2024 Math and Computer Science Convention.
