The Centennial Olympic Park Fountain of Rings will be closed starting August 26 as construction begins on its new, modern upgrade. It will reopen in late December 2024. The last operational day is Sunday, August 25.

Water features at Centennial Olympic Park are now back in operation. The pavilion restrooms have also reopened for public use. We appreciate your patience and understanding during the temporary closure.
Exciting news! The iconic Fountain of Rings at Centennial Olympic Park is getting a modern upgrade! Thanks to a $2.5 million grant from the Robert W. Woodruff Foundation, the Fountain will undergo its first major enhancement since 2007. Key improvements include updated technology, upgraded lighting, and remote access capabilities, promising limitless possibilities for dazzling displays and interactive experiences.
GWCCA has partnered with Fountain People, experts in custom water features, and Hogan Construction Group as the projectโs general contractor. Work begins in August, aiming for completion by December. Get ready for an even more spectacular Centennial Olympic Park experience!

Atlanta Story Partners were filming their upcoming documentary โThe Games in Black & Whiteโ, which celebrates the intersection of the Olympic Movement and the Civil Rights Movement. The film is set to be released before the 2024 Summer Games in Paris.
