Content Warning:
The films shown as a part of our Black History Month series may contain content that may be objectionable, triggering, or controversial in nature.
The goal of the Department of Cinematic Arts is to equip students with the fundamentals to create art that ultimately glorifies God. To do this, we must sometimes view critically-acclaimed films and media that contains mature content. We do not intend to glamorize or celebrate the content itself, but rather develop a discourse around the material as well as the technical merit of the art itself.
Because of this, we strongly encourage you to advocate for yourself and avoid watching such content as informed by your own conscience.
