AUSD is seeking members for the Parent Advisory Plus Council (PAC+). The PAC+ helps the District make decisions on how to best serve our students. PAC+ members provide input and consult with the District on the implementation of the District's Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP).

AUSD 2023 - 2024 Year In Review

Hodge summer school students had a blast 🚀! 4th and 5th-grade summer school students read W***y Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, and today, they got to choose a chocolate bar🍫. There were 5 Golden Ticket🎫 winners! 4th and 5th grade also finished their science curriculum with Open Mic. They got to take apart microphones to see how they work, and they finished with karaoke🎤! Third-grade students did the robotic pet vet with robot dogs.🐶

Our Hodge summer school students are having a blast and keeping their minds fresh with engaging hands-on learning and time outside with friends.

Join the Bear Cub family! Longfellow is now enrolling for full-day, full-year preschool! Longfellow's preschool program is play-based, encouraging social and emotional growth through exploration, creativity, and hands-on experiences.

This year, AUSD Nutrition Services staff served 751,680 lunches, 125 students earned more than 20 college credits, and 235 students participated in Dual Enrollment! Check out our Year In Review to see how AUSD students and staff excelled this year!

SUN Bucks is a new grocery benefit that offers families $120 per eligible school-aged child for groceries during the summer. SUN Bucks works just like CalFresh, but for the summer. Children who qualify for free or reduced-price school meals through a school meal application or an Alternative Income Form, or get CalFresh, CalWORKs, or Medi-Cal, are automatically enrolled. At the last Board of Education meeting of the school year, the Azusa High baseball team was recognized for their championship run. What a great season and a great celebration!

Please be aware of the following updated guidelines for those participating in public comment at AUSD's Board of Education Meetings.

1.) Speaker cards must be turned in to the Board Secretary by 7:10 PM, or 10 minutes after the meeting begins
2.) No speaker may yield their time to another individual speaker
3.) Speaker must be present when their name is called in order to be heard
4.) Maximum speaking time is 3 minutes.

ABC 7 🎥 featured AHS graduate Hector H on the evening news and in an article celebrating his acceptance to 21 colleges and universities, including 4 Ivy League schools! 🎉 👨🏽‍🎓 Hector will carry his Azusa pride to Yale University in the Fall. Congratulations, Hector! We are so proud of you!

Azusa’s amazing playoff run ended 8-6 in a nine-inning nail-biter. AHS finished as the CIF State Southern Regional Division 5 runner-up after being named CIF Southern Section Division 8 champs. We are proud of our team and thankful for the community that rallied behind them! We'd also like to give a shout-out to APU for letting us use their field.
