Join us with Dr. Kyle Shaw who will be hosting our Computer Music Workshop.

Society of Women Engineers, Software Engineering Club, and Linux Club are providing the Computer Music Workshop. This workshop allows you to participate in full or passive way. You can just sit and watch the live coding of computer music, or you can come to the workshop with your earphones, personal laptop, and SuperCollider installed in advance.

We are also providing pizza to participants! 🍕

The CSUB Computer Science department, the Software Engineering Club, the Linux Club, and the Society of Women Engineers will host their first Coding Cup competition this Friday on Engineering Day. NSME will also be hosting 500 students from the surrounding high schools. The Coding Cup is in promotion of Engineering Day, and we have invited high school students to participate in our competition. We hope through this event we can inspire students and our community to pursue a higher education in STEM.

We would like to extend an invitation to CSUB students of all majors. We would be delighted to have our students participate in the competition. Below are a few important notes our participants should keep in mind.

— PRIZE: $149 to the winner for each section, respectively.
— Date: February 24th, 2023
— Time: 10:00 am to 12:00 pm
— Location: Walter Stiern Library Rooms: 3, 5, 7
— Two sections: Lower and Upper
