We are looking for a quick learner with an eye for detail, ability to multi-task, and a professional, approachable personality eager learn tasks specific to our office and our industry.

Responsibilities:

· Type and format documents from dictated recordings.

· File, scan, update, and maintain information in paper or electronic filing systems.

· Update and maintain electronic databases.

· Place outgoing calls for the attorneys and paralegals.

· As needed, answer telephone calls, take messages, and direct callers to appropriate parties.

· As needed, receive and greet clients.

· Receive, sort and distribute daily mail/deliveries.

· Gather and arrange files, documents or other relevant information for assigned project or person.

· Travel to courthouse or clerk’s office (1 mile away) to provide or retrieve documents, as needed.

· Maintain Master Case List.

· Order and stock supplies.

· Draft and proofread basic correspondence.

· Perform other clerical duties such as legal filing, office filing, scheduling conferences, scanning, photocopying, collating, faxing, mailing, and other duties as directed.

· Collect documents for bankruptcy clients.

· Update the case management systems, MyCase and Bankruptcy Pro

· Any additional responsibilities as assigned by the Firm

Requirements:

· Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook

· Type at least 60 WPM

· Desire to learn.

· Professional appearance and demeanor.

· Solid communication skills (both written and verbal).

· Detail oriented with excellent reading comprehension.

· Familiarity with Bankruptcy and Personal Injury law, helpful, but not required

· Ability to organize, multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

· High School Diploma

· Team Player is a MUST!

Job Type: Full-time, 8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
