Thank you to our incredible team for donating to our annual school supply drive. This year, our donations went to Empower4Life, whose goal is to provide every homeless child in Baltimore and Harford County shelters with the supplies needed for confidence and academic success.

We donated an incredible amount of school supplies and sponsored eight children (ages 8-15) with a brand-new backpack and back-to-school outfit.

Last night's game was a 14-18 finish against the Great Americans, and we couldn't be prouder of our team!

Ending the regular season 11-1, we're feeling pretty good about bringing home the gold for the second year in a row.

Last night, season 1 episode 6 aired of A&E's Murder at the Motel, featuring the work of Silverman Thompson's criminal defense attorney Patrick R. Seidel.

During his time as an Assistant State's Attorney for the City of Baltimore's Homicide Unit, Seidel investigated and prosecuted the horrifically violent death of U.S. Navy Veteran, Edward Yesaitis at the hands of two strangers whom he had befriended through a chance encounter.

"I was privileged to work alongside the dedicated men and women of the Baltimore City Police Department, the Amtrak Police Department, and the US Marshals Service, who worked tirelessly to investigate and ultimately solve this brutal murder," says Seidel.

"Having this case—and all our efforts to bring justice and closure to the Yesaitis family—featured on A&E’s Murder at the Motel is truly humbling."

This past Friday, Silverman Thompson sponsored the Annual Charity Event hosted by the Young Lawyers’ Section of the Maryland State Bar Association – MSBA as a Bronze Sponsor. Our attorney Kerri Smith is the immediate past chair of the Young Lawyers’ Section and was joined by several other past, current, and future chairs at the event, which benefitted The Maryland Zoo in Baltimore this year.

Last month, Silverman Thompson sponsored the Baltimore Bar Foundation’s Spaghetti Opera as a Baritone Sponsor.

The Foundation is a charitable organization that provides grants to non-profit programs and organizations engaged in law-related projects in the Baltimore City community (such as providing legal services to low-income Marylanders and offering education regarding the law and legal system to school students). The Spaghetti Opera is one of the Foundation’s many fundraisers to raise money for the grants.
