Is anyone interested in a volunteer oppurtunity with AIAbr? We need 3 more people who would like to dress nice and have an oppurtunity to network.
Friday, July 31st is the annual AIA Rose Awards Gala. Here is a link to last year's awarded projects. ---> http://www.aiabr.com/events/_rose.html
This year, it is located on the 4th floor terrace at the Shaw center. Volunteers would arrive at 6pm to help complete set-up and to manage the front table where people would come to sign-in or buy a ticket for the Gala, so some cash will be dealt with.
The Gala is from 7pm-10pm. The volunteers would be free to mingle and eat/dink around 7:30-8pm. They are not required to stay until 10pm if they do not want to.
Just let Rachel Lagrange or Kathleen Gordon know if you want to volunteer. Kathleen is also the one who would sign off on this as IDP hours if you need them. Her contact information is below:
