We see you, Gus.
The world witnessed the beautiful expression of a neurodivergent individual with Gus Walz’s reaction to his father. How we each respond to it speaks volumes about our openness to embrace the millions of neurodivergent individuals in our communities. Choose to be an ally. Choose to be inclusive. Choose to love unconditionally.
This is not a political moment; it is a human moment.
Watch “Inside Our Autistic Minds” Part 2 tonight at 6:00 PM on LPB 👀
REMINDER: Louisiana Public Broadcasting (LPB) will be showing the second part of the 2-part series, Inside Our Autistic Minds on August 25th at 6pm.
Discover how technology can transform the lives of four autistic people by helping them reveal to family and friends what's really going on inside their minds. Presented by Chris Packham, this two-part series harnesses CGI and animation technology to transform the lives of four autistic people fed up with being misunderstood.
They all have different experiences of being autistic, but all feel constrained by not being able to share the inner workings of their minds with friends, family and colleagues.
Chris wants to change this and hopes that with empathy and understanding we can all learn to improve autistic lives.
