Our Story
Louisiana Earth Day 2019--Love Louisiana: Make Every Day Earth Day! April 28 LSU Parker Coliseum! The theme for this year’s festival, “Love Louisiana: Make Every Day Earth Day” ties together the environment, stewardship of Earth’s resources, health, and the economy. Creative exhibits and activities produced by over 200 volunteers educate and inspire festival-goers on how they can live green and live healthy at home and at work. Regional music and food provide a chance for all ages to celebrate the unique beauty of our state.
In addition to returning organizations with activities for Earth for Children, Wetlands, Recycle Fair, Department of Environmental Quality, Southern University and LSU agricultural exhibits, and new activities that include Earth Market, and non-profit/governmental booths with the latest environmental impacts and how we can each do our part in helping to slow down climate change.
