Teach For America has launched the 2024-2025 Rural School Leadership Academy (RSLA)! Congratulations to Marcie, Natasha ('14), and Samantha ('11) on their acceptance to the fellowship.
The Rural School Leadership Academy is a yearlong fellowship where fellows develop the knowledge and skills necessary for school leadership roles while building a powerful network of aspiring school leaders in rural communities.

“As a male educator, I recognize the importance of my presence in the classroom. I understand that my role extends beyond just teaching lessons; I serve as a positive role model for all students. I am proud of the remarkable progress my students have made. At the beginning of the year, 80% of my students were significantly below their expected grade levels; by the midpoint assessment in January, 80% were at or above grade level reading standards.”
