Our Covington Club members recently visited Splendor Farms, Turtle Cove and Insta-Gator Ranch!

Exploring the beauty of nature, enjoying horseback rides, and getting up close and personal with some gators made for perfect summer trips of adventure and learning.

Who wants to go camping? 🏕️🌲

Our Club members recently participated in a Wilderness Quest Week where they delved into the great outdoors, learning about teamwork, leadership and self-discovery.

One of the skills they learned throughout the week was how to pitch a tent! Not only is it a useful skill for outdoor enthusiasts, but it also promotes teamwork and communication among group members.

Four Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Louisiana teen members spent their week in Washington D.C. to attend the Summit for America’s Youth!

During this inspiring week, our teens made presentations, spoke with local officials, learned valuable insights and shared their own stories. We’re so proud of them for using their voices and advocating for America’s youth!

Youth voices deserve to be HEARD!

Our Covington members recently attended a Water Safety Day in partnership with YMCA and PoolCorp! 🏊

Water safety and awareness is important while having fun in the sun. Our members learned basic water safety skills and improved their confidence in and around the water.

SUMMER FIELD TRIP SPOTLIGHT! ☀️

Every year, our teen members take a trip to Magnolia Ridge Adventure Park to go zip lining! Not only do our members get to have some fun, but they also get to explore the great outdoors! 🌲🧗‍♂️

Our Baton Rouge and Slidell teen members recently came together for a Summer JAM session where they participated in activities related to academics, careers and mental health. Lunch was provided by our friends at Panda Express.

Through this day of connection and exploration, our teens were able to build confidence in themselves and their abilities.

Dr. Axelle Kamanzi Shimwa, a research analyst at the Tulane National Primate Research Center, captivated everyone with her incredible experiences studying gorillas in the Virunga Mountains of Rwanda as part of the camp's theme on different biomes.

Recently, some furry friends from Bayou Buddies Pet Therapy stopped by to interact with our Club members! Therapy animals can provide comfort, affection and emotional support to those who need it. Our kids enjoyed the visit!
