Congrats for finishing out the semester! Have a great summer break!
Meet the 2024 Leadership LSU Cohort
The 16 students chosen for the cohort met weekly during the spring semester to explore how to become actively engaged and purposeful contributors to the LSU community and society.
Highlights from the session include past Leadership LSU alums Brandon Smith, LLSU 2005, and Krista Allen Raney, LLSU 2010, who led a discussion about community engagement. Students also had the opportunity to work in groups on community issues and present those solutions at the closing session. Stoles were then given to all participants.

At LSU, we are deeply committed to creating an environment that makes success possible for all students during their time on campus and beyond.
Please consider giving a gift of $5 or more today to support student success through one of our 3 priority funds:
Student Emergency Support Fund: provides immediate financial support for students in crisis, helping them stay on track to graduation.
Collegiate Recovery Fund: Equips students with resources to support their wellbeing and resiliency on their path to recovery from addiction and substance abuse.
Suit Up Fund: Provides grants for students in need to shop for professional attire, boosting their job search confidence.
Make your gift now at https://givingday.lsu.edu/pages/division-of-student-affairs-2.
Ignite student success by ensuring no student has to turn down a career-shaping internship! When 75 donors give to Student Affairs, Scott Brakebill will unlock $75,000 for the Lagniappe Internship Opportunity Fund.
At LSU, we believe that financial constraints, such as living costs or travel expenses, shouldn't cause students to miss out on an internship offer.
The campus-wide Lagniappe Internship Fund aims to reduce financial barriers LSU students may face when presented with out of state or unpaid internships.
Make your gift at https://givingday.lsu.edu/pages/division-of-student-affairs-2.
Students spend 153 hours each week outside of the classroom preparing to achieve their potential inside the classroom and beyond. On Giving Day, your gift will remove barriers to student persistence (Emergency Student Support Fund), provide resources to support student resilience (Collegiate Recovery Fund), and bolster student confidence as they embark on their careers (SuitUp Fund)! Make your gift on Wednesday, at https://givingday.lsu.edu/pages/division-of-student-affairs-2.

Happy Thanksgiving Tigers! We hope you all enjoy this time and always remember to be thankful!
Congrats to the students who received their LSU Rings at today’s ceremony. Reigning Miss LSU Ivy Robichaux and Mike The Tiger on hand to present the rings. Each student was given their ring on stage and then had a photo op with Mike the Tiger. Along with the students, Mike received his ring.
Fun Fact: The night before the LSU Ring Ceremony, each student has the unique and distinct privilege of having their LSU Ring watched over by Mike in his habitat.
Long considered a Tiger Tradition and an academic milestone for juniors, the LSU Ring is reserved for alumni, currently enrolled undergraduates who have completed 75 credit hours, and currently enrolled graduate students who have completed 18 credit hours.
More information about the LSU Ring is available at lsu.edu/lsuring.
